Hi there,as for today, I would like to share my review upon a movie I ‘ve just watched entitled The Mechanic(2011).The main reason I watched the movie is because I’ve wanted to watch its sequel which came out about two months ago entitled The Mechanic: Resurrection. I have not watched it yet but,I’m looking forward to watch it as I do love action-packed film.The main character in the both film is Arthur Bishop,who works as a hitman which acted by Jason Statham.I’m very sure that those who love action thriller film are very familiar with the actor as he always stars in films with such genre and one of his famous movie with three series is The Transporter.
In ‘The Mechanic’ 2011,the movie is quite conflicted and complicated as Bishop train a man named Steve whose father he has killed to become a hitman.While believing that his father was killed by a car-jacker,Steve learns all the stunts from Bishop and consequently forms a partnership with Bishop in the assasination job.If you enjoy the sound of gunfire,embrace of explosions,senseless slaughter and non -stop actions,I’m pretty sure that you will like this story as there a are lot of scenes potraying such things.However,after forming a trust between them,Steve then learns that Bishop is the one who murders his father and wants to take a revenge upon him .
Initially,I thought that Steve would not make a decision of killing Bishop though he has killed his father because we can see from the movie that Steve has form a good partnership with Bishop and Bishop seems to care about Steve’s safety when he was doing the job and when he was attacked by a group of assassins at Bishop’s house.I thought that Steve might understand why Bishop kills his father which is because of he is deceived by a man who frames his father which also Bishop’s friend.
In the end,Steve who is full of hatred and vengeance towards his father’s murdererdecides to kill Bishop at the oil station though Bishop has been nice to him all the time.He refills the car with oil when Bishop is inside the car and shot the car from a distance where Bishop will not recognise him in order to kill Bishop.However,Bishop who is a professional hitman and has been quite a long in this job would not be easily killed by a kid whom he just trained for the past few months.A hidden camera in the oil station reveals that Bishop manages to roll out from the car before it explodes.On the other hand,Steves who seems to be satisfied thinking that he has killed his father’s murdered comes back to Bishop’s house and break the two rules that Bishop has said out before-playing the record in the house and drive Bishop’s antic Jaguar car- eventually the car explodes killing him and the house also explodes.
